 Late at night, the Mermaid plays in the ocean, dreaming of the parallel world: sea and sky, moon and sun, love and hate and happiness and sadness.  She dreams of her former life living on the sea, away from stress, chaos, and the surreal tales of politics, family drama and childhood secrets.  This self-portrait captures the past life of cruising on a sailboat in the middle of the ocean seeking adventures of faraway places.  Finally, the Mermaid can hide from the outside world or reality being at peace, she seeks the safety surrounded by the seas, crashing the shimmering plankton against the beautiful strong Mermaid’s tail.
