 Late at night, the Mermaid plays in the ocean, dreaming of the parallel world: sea and sky, moon and sun, love and hate and happiness and sadness.  She dreams of her former life living on the sea, away from stress, chaos, and the surreal tales of politics, family drama and childhood secrets.  This self-portrait captures the past life of cruising on a sailboat in the middle of the ocean seeking adventures of faraway places.  Finally, the Mermaid can hide from the outside world or reality being at peace, she seeks the safety surrounded by the seas, crashing the shimmering plankton against the beautiful strong Mermaid’s tail.

 My husband and I spent two weeks backpacking in Nicaragua traveling throughout the country.  

It was very beautiful and the people would smile at you if you smiled at them.

The delicious food was made with loving care with the little price of $5 per person..

This price included appetizer, meat (sometimes lobster), vegetables and drinks.  

I enjoyed creating these watercolors, while my husband slid down a 3000 ft.live volcano on a sled.  

It was not what I would do, but he came back unscathed.  He was on a high being the oldest rider.

Nicaragua was an incredible experience!

Genesis 1:14 – The Fourth Day

And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night.  And God made the two great lights-the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night and the stars. And God saw that it was good.  And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

Peace and Serenity

“Peace and Serenity” illustrates God's creation of the Earth and the separation of Heaven, where the Sun, Moon, and Stars exist.  Heaven is God’s promise of beauty and serenity when people see beautiful gorgeous blue skies, sunsets, stars, and even the rare viewing of a blue moon. As God promised, as the sun rises, it is the beginning of a new day and new opportunities for each of us; as night approaches you see sunsets reflected on Earth’s many waters. Into the night, the reflection of the stars, and the moon on oceans, seas, and lakes. The world has many wonders but only the Sun, Moon, and Stars are shared by everyone, everywhere, every day.  God is good.”
